I am learning to create a website in order to post my personal genealogical information. I would like very much to post your Dash poem on the home page. Would that be possible? What are your requirements other than, of course, attributing it to you?

Was truly impressed with the reading of your poem, THE DASH, today at a funeral service I attended. Then after getting your name and going on the computer I found such a wonderful plethera of inspirational works and music that it has truly made a wonderful highlight in the life of a baby boomer. I will and have shared with others your website so that their lives may be touched as mine has. May you continue to be blessed with the talent that you have that others may experience through you wonderful and promising days - between THE DASH. REY

Hi Linda, I just found your poem, The Dash, on a blog this morning. I had never read it or heard of it before, where have I been? The one I read did not have an author listed, so I Googled it, and found you. When reading your original poem, I found that the other one had some words changed, also. I read your copyright page, and say, "Good for you!" I try to research all quotes I use on my blog, but there are a couple that I cannot find the authors for. And after reading your thoughts on the subject, I believe I will just go and take them off of my site, as ignorance of the author's name is no excuse for posting their work.
Thanks for writing such a great poem. I will be back to read some of your other work. I am also in Georgia, so I guess we are kinda neighbors! Have a great day.

Do you mind if I use your poem in my grandchildren memory book I am putting together for them of their mother who died Feb 10, 2007 at age 39. We are raising them. I just read today your poem- it hit. Your name will be on the poem. Martha Henschen

Linda,
I first came across your poem "The Dash" while browsing the morning show blog for December on KXOJ radio station's website. This is my favorite Christian music radio station in the Tulsa, Ok area. (My initial reason for browsing their website was the Dec 4th morning show blog; which is an inspiring conversation between a 12 year old boy and a radio dj!)
I proceeded to write down your poem to share with some women inmates in the monthly service where I was to be the speaker for the evening. Last night was the largest number of women inmates we have had at our monthly services (at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center in central OK) in the last two years! Everyone in attendance was visibly moved as one of our prison ministry volunteers read your poem. To help the 112 women inmates 'connect' with what they were hearing I held up a 'visual'. My grandmother passed away in 2007. I used her name and birth and death years, with a "dash" of course, as an illustration for the audience.
The inmates are asking for a copy of your poem. Is that ok?
I will, of course, refer them to your website(s); although as inmates they are not allowed internet access. Thank you...c l parker...
